Teen injured in crash on westbound Connector Friday

Idaho State Police are investigating a one-car crash that snarled traffic on the westbound Connector near Boise Towne Square Mall and injured one person about 1:30 p.m. Friday.

A 15-year-old girl from Meridian was driving a GMC Yukon in the far right lane of Interstate 184 near where traffic merges from the Franklin on ramp when her vehicle left the road and she overcorrected, rolling the vehicle, ISP reports. The other 15-year-old girl in the car was taken by ambulance to St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center, but information about her injuries was not available. Both wore seatbelts, ISP reports.

The crash is under investigation.
