During this time:

▪ Lanes will restricted day and night on Broadway at University and Myrtle.

▪ Flaggers will direct traffic at Myrtle and University. The signal at Myrtle will be turned off day and night.

▪ The Greenbelt detour at the Myrtle/Broadway intersection will be temporarily shifted south toward the Boise River.

Crews will pave the section of Broadway between Front and Myrtle streets later in July.

This work is part of Idaho Transportation Department’s Broadway Bridge replacement project. To date, crews have completed the foundation of the new bridge and are now building the deck. Bridge construction will continue through the summer, as well as roadway improvements to Broadway Avenue.

The new $20.2 million six-lane bridge will feature bike lanes, 10-foot-wide sidewalks, three 18-foot-wide overlooks on each side of the bridge and stairs and ramps to the Greenbelt.
