There were no injuries in a barn fire that destroyed up to 2 tons of hay near Cole Road Thursday morning, according to the Boise Fire Department.
The fire originated in the ceiling near a light, the department posted on its Twitter account Friday morning.
Crews responded to the scene around 10 a.m. Thursday and knocked down the blaze. Firefighters used three engines and two water tenders to work on the fire, according to BFD.
Firefighters continued working on the fire through Thursday afternoon.
