The ceremony for the Primary Heath Medical Group clinic will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at 5601 Chinden Blvd, near Fred Meyer and Wendy’s.
The clinic, scheduled to open in spring 2016, will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.. It will include nine examination rooms, X-ray suite, trauma room, lab and two procedure rooms.
Patients will be able to obtain walk-in urgent care services, family medicine services, along with work injury care and employment drug testing.
“Garden City is bustling with business activity on a daily basis, but the area has long been underserved when it comes to comprehensive medical care. We are pleased to be the group to bring urgent care and family medicine to individuals and businesses in the area,” Dr. David Peterman, Primary Health’s president, said in a written statement.

The clinic will be the company’s 17th location, following openings in Boise next month and in Meridian early next year.
