A Pocatello woman was taken to the hospital Wednesday night after a two-car crash set her car on fire, according to Idaho State Police.
Shauna Bare, 52, of Pocatello was driving a 2015 Honda Civic west on Interstate 84 near the Boise Port of Entry when she rear-ended a 2014 Peterbilt semi and trailer driven by Matthew Ernestberg, 49, of Middleton, ISP said.
Bare’s vehicle caught fire, according to ISP.
ISP responded to the crash around 8:40 p.m. Westbound traffic was shut down for nearly two hours, ISP said.
