A 21-year-old woman died in a motorcycle crash in Southwest Boise Wednesday morning, according to Patrick Orr, spokesman for the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.
Joslyn Johnson, of Meridian, died due to blunt force trauma, according to the Ada County Coroner’s Office.
A 21-year-old man who was also on the motorcycle was injured, Orr said.
The man driving the motorcycle was heading east on Lake Hazel when he lost control near Star Struck Avenue. He hit a tree and then crashed into an embankment, Orr said.

The crash was called in around 8:14 a.m., according to Ada County Dispatch.
The identities of the man involved in the crash hasn’t yet been released.
Johnson had been wearing a helmet, Orr said.
