A 14-year-old was hospitalized Monday afternoon after a collision with a car in a West Boise neighborhood, police said Tuesday. The child’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The collision was reported just after 3 p.m. at North Cloverdale Road and West Edna Drive.
Police say the bicyclist was traveling south on Cloverdale. The vehicle was traveling west on Edna, attempting to turn north on Cloverdale when it struck the bicyclist who was entering the crosswalk.
The 17-year-old driver was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
