Michael Jones suffered life-threatening injuries while riding his bike in the Foothills in June, when he was involved in a head-on crash with a motorcycle.
The 32-year-old is recovering and going through intensive physical therapy. He hopes to get back to work soon.
Supporters have planned a community fundraiser from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at PreFunk, 1100 W Front St. in Boise. All are welcome to the event, which will feature live music, an auction and a raffle.
Many individuals from the community have contributed items, including handmade bags, quilts, gift certificates and jewelry, according to organizer Sarah Thompson.
