About 2,000 people attended United Way’s Flapjack Feed Thursday morning to raise money for needy families and celebrate the community.
Admission was a suggested donation of $5, and people from all walks of life attended, said Nora Carpenter, CEO and president of United Way of the Treasure Valley.
The feed was meant to send up United Way’s community and business partners, while raising money for the people the organization serves.
