Boise Parks and Recreation is inviting neighbors of the undeveloped Franklin site to a public meeting August 27th, where department staff members will gather input on the design of the city-owned three-acre parcel.
Located on the southwest corner of Franklin Road and Orchard Street, the park site is the former home of Franklin Elementary School.
Parks and Recreation plans to use public input to inform the future park’s design.
The Aug. 27 meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in the Lemhi Room at the Boise Public Library’s Hillcrest branch, 5246 W Overland Road in Boise.
