A vacant barn on the corner of Cloverdale Road and Fairview Avenue caught fire early Thursday, along with a second vacant structure nearby, according to the Boise Fire Department.
A related grass fire was moving slowly toward a nearby mobile home park when fire crews arrived at about 3:15 a.m. Firefighters called second alarm and five engines and two trucks extinguished the flames by around 3:40 a.m., according to the fire department.
Nobody was injured.
Investigators are still determining the cause. The fire department sent out a request for tips Thursday morning. The department noted that it was the third structure fire along that part of Fairview Avenue in the past several months; two grass fires have also recently burned nearby.
