It’s hard to know how the Caped Crusader would feel.
Someone trying to board a plane in Boise last week had their “batarangs” confiscated by officials with the Transportation Security Administration, according to the agency’s online blog.
The four bat-shaped throwing weapons — favored by the comic book character Batman — were in a passenger’s carry-on luggage. The term “batarang” is a combination of the words “bat” and “boomerang.”
Boise police did not immediately respond to a request for more information.

The batarangs were not the most unusual item seized by federal officials last week. That may have been a meat slicer found in a carry-on bag at Southwest Florida International Airport.
In all, the TSA discovered 55 firearms last week, including 41 that were loaded, and 28 stun guns.
