Boise police officers are still investigating the motorcycle crash Wednesday that killed Harrison Berlin, a 32-year-old Boise man.
The Ada County Coroner's office released Berlin's identity Thursday morning.
According to preliminary reports, witnesses told officers Berlin was driving fast on the inbound I-184 Connector shortly after 7 p.m. on Wednesday when he hit a concrete barrier. The impact threw both the man and his motorcycle over the barrier. Both landed in Rhodes Park, the skate park between 15th and 16th streets, beneath the Connector, police said.
Officers said Berlin was not wearing a helment and was dead when emergency responders reached him. The skate park, which is undergoing a revamp project, was fenced and closed to the public.
