All Idaho Division of Motor Vehicle systems affected by a Downtown Boise outage Thursday morning were back in operation as of 11 a.m., according to the Idaho Transportation Department.
The outage was reported just after 5 a.m. near the intersection of State and Third streets. It technically only affected 18 customers, but that included the state controller’s office, which houses certain county and state servers, according to Idaho Power.
The DMV’s servers went down during the outage, interrupting services statewide. Power was restored as of 10:30 a.m.
The outage impacted driver licenses, vehicle registration, vehicle titles and Idaho’s ports of entry, according to ITD.
