Carolyn Crabtree, 44, of Durham, N.C., was listed in fair condition Tuesday at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. The conditions for two juveniles who were also taken to the hospital after the crash were not available due to their status as minors.
According to Idaho State Police, Crabtree was driving a Jeep Liberty east on Interstate 84 when she drifted into the right lane at around 8:50 p.m. Monday at milepost 68. That lane was occupied, and Crabtree overcorrected and rolled into the median, ISP reports.
Crabtree was flown to the hospital in an air ambulance, ISP states. Her passengers, ages 10 and 5, were taken there by ground ambulance.
Neither Crabtree nor the 10-year-old wore seat belts, according to ISP. The 5-year-old was restrained in a booster seat in the back seat.
