A man who crashed through the wall of the Rent-A-Center store at 5150 W. Overland Road around 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon was suffering from a pre-existing medical condition, according to the Boise Police Department.
The 57-year-old driver was taken to a local hospital with injuries that weren’t life threatening, but no one inside the building was harmed. The pickup truck came to a rest in the middle of the store after hitting several pieces of furniture.
The man was not issued a citation, since the cause of the accident was medical, according to BPD.
Less than an hour later, Boise police investigated another car-into-building incident. That time a car crashed into an apartment building on the 1300 block of Hartman, causing some structural damage but no injuries, police said.
