Brush fire quickly controlled near Veterans Memorial Park

The Boise Fire Department is investigating a brush fire near Veterans Memorial Park that burned about three acres Tuesday night.

The fire call came in at 7:55 p.m., and firefighters quickly got the fire under control. By 9:30 p.m., crews were in the mop-up phase. BFD spokeswoman Tammy Barry said.

No structures or equipment were burned, Barry said.

The cause of the fire was ruled to be undetermined, according to BFD.
