A Boise mobile home was completely destroyed by a fire early Thursday morning, according to Boise Fire Department.
The single wide home was unoccupied and no one was hurt in the blaze that was called in at about 2:45 a.m., but a nearby mobile home was damaged. That structure wasn’t totaled in the blaze since firefighters arrived on scene in time to protect it. The three residents in that structure were notified of the fire by a neighbor, according to Boise Fire.
The destroyed structure had been abandoned by its owner and was set to be removed from the mobile home park, according to Boise Fire.
The cause of the fire is undetermined. The utilities were disconnected and investigators think it started due to an unknown heat source, said Boise Fire spokesperson Tammy Barry.
