A 3-year-old boy was pulled out of a Ada County pool after another toddler, 4 years old, found him under water Tuesday, according to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.
The 4-year-old found his mother and directed her to the 3-year-old, who was submerged at the Charter Pointe pool on West Mossywood Drive, next to Desert Sage Elementary School. She pulled the boy out and he coughed up water, according to Patrick Orr, spokesman for the sheriff’s office.
When personnel arrived on scene the 3-year-old was breathing and didn’t need CPR. But, he was still sent to the hospital, Orr said.
