Saint Al’s in Boise wants a parking lot where Rodeway Inn once stood

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center has no plans to develop most of the 4.1-acre lot south of the Connector and west of Curtis Road, spokesman Joshua Schlaich said.

For now, the hospital is content adding 75 parking spaces on the 1.1 acres on the lot's west side, Schlaich said.

Saint Al's bought up the 4.1-acre lot, which was once home to the Rodeway Inn. The hotel has been demolished.

A Planning and Zoning public hearing on the parking lot proposal is scheduled at 6 p.m. on June 8, in the Boise City Council chambers at City Hall, 150 N. Capitol Blvd.
