A Boise home caught fire Saturday afternoon, but no one was hurt, according to Boise Fire Department.
The occupants weren't at home when the fire started at a house on the 12000 block of West Sitka Drive. Though their dog was home, firefighters were able to safely get the pet out, said Boise Fire Captain Terry Theriot.
Firefighters contained the blaze mostly to the garage. A small boat and an all terrain vehicle were totaled in the flames, but only the exterior of the house was burned, Theriot said.
An electrical box was scorched, so the family couldn't stay in the home over the weekend. But, the fire caused no significant structural damage to the house, he said.
