Treasure Valley residents can expect more lightning, rain and even hail until Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
“There's an area of low pressure centered roughly over Nevada,” said Jeanne Allen, meteorologist with the National Weather Service’s Boise office. “We're getting what we call wrap-around moisture.”
That moisture is affecting parts of Utah and Idaho, she said.
That means there will be a chance of rain every day until Wednesday with a chance of thunderstorms every evening. With the storms residents can expect hail, possible gusty winds and more lightning, she said.
