Treasure Valley residents could see some thunderstorms through next weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
“We have a slight chance of thunderstorms pretty much from (Monday) on,” said Korri Anderson, meteorologist for the National Weather Service’s Boise office.
Monday through Friday will see a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms. The weekend has a bigger chance of seeing rain with a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms and showers, he said.
Temperatures will be higher than normal in the 70s throughout the week, except on Wednesday when it will be cooler than normal at 68 degrees. Monday could be as hot as 79 degrees, Anderson said.
