Boise’s Egyptian Theatre to host free screening of education documentary “Most Likely to Succeed”

Director Greg Whiteley plans to host a question-and-answer session after a free May 12 screening of “Most Likely to Succeed.”

Whiteley also made “Mitt,” a documentary that follows about former presidential candidate Mitt Romney through the 2008 and 2012 campaigns. “Most Likely to Succeed” is a hard look at the American education system and why it has lost ground to other countries’ systems. It was shown the Sundance Film Festival, Sun Valley Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival.

Besides the problem facing education in America, the film focuses on a school in San Diego that is rethinking the processes of learning and teaching. Check out the trailer here.

The screening at the Egyptian starts at 7 p.m. May 12. It is free for people who RSVP in time. Go here to RSVP.
