Boise man dies from crash injuries suffered last month

W.D. “Tex” Taylor, 64, died Friday from injuries suffered in a March 31 crash at the intersection of Eagle Road and Chinden Boulevard.

Taylor was heading north on Eagle Road in a 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup at 12:10 p.m. when he made an improper left turn from the far right lane and struck a southbound 1999 International semi truck pulling a trailer, according to the Idaho State Police. The truck, driven by Max Griffin, 73, of Lebanon, Mo., struck the passenger side of Taylor’s vehicle.

Taylor was taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, where he was treated until his death.
