The contents of a concrete shelter attached to a home in the 3000 block of Ridgeway Drive burned, but the house itself only received a little smoke, Boise Fire Battalion Chief Tom Pawek said Monday morning.
Dispatchers received multiple calls about the fire starting at 7:18 a.m., according to Ada County Dispatch. Smoke was visible from the Connector Monday morning.
The fire was under control shortly after 8 a.m., according to the Boise Fire Department.
The shelter was used for storage, Pawek said. Two people were home, but they were out of the house by the time firefighters arrived, and no injuries were reported.
