Table Rock's buildings have new murals painted across them thanks to work by Sector Seventeen, a Boise artist collective.
The collective partnered with the Rotary Club of Boise East and the Idaho Historical Society to beautify the buildings that were covered in graffiti. These murals are meant to be a deterrent against further graffiti, according to a press release from Kellie Coon, project chair for Boise East Rotary.
"It went really well," Coon said of the Saturday event that showed off the work. "I think it's something up there for everyone."
The project, called REClaim Table Rock, will go further with new benches once the money is raised, Coon said.

They want to put up interpretive signs and graffiti-resistant benches. To do so they’re looking to raise $25,000, but they got a head start Saturday with a $1,000 donation from Idaho Central Credit Union, she said.
