The Capital City Public Market opened for its first day in 2015 on Saturday.
The market hosted about 100 vendors who sold food, produce, baked goods, art and crafts.
Eileen Stachowski, assistant manager for the market, said she was pleased at the large turnout who came to the early opening day.
The market is trying to expand and provide more options to customers, she said.
