Traffic at the Boise intersection of Cole and Franklin roads was jammed Monday afternoon by an accident between a motorcycle and a truck.
Witnesses told police that a motorcycle headed north on Cole collided with a delivery truck turning eastbound about 1:30 p.m.
The motorcycle driver, who was wearing a helmet, was transported by paramedics to an area hospital with potentially life threatening injuries, police said.
Northbound lanes on Cole Road were blocked for two hours while a crash reconstruction team investigated. Cole Road has since been reopened to normal traffic. The crash remains under investigation.
