Max Wyatt, 5, of Boise, who was severely hurt after getting dragged on his bicycle by a minivan in September, was transferred to University of Utah Burn ICU Unit Oct. 9, according to the GoFundMe page set up to help with his medical bills.
Wyatt is making headway in his recovery, and his doctors are pleased with how his injuries are healing, according to the page.
The accident he was involved with inspired a campaign to increase safety for cyclists in the Treasure Valley.
The Boise Bicycle Project launched The MAX Campaign and has been putting out bracelets made from bike spokes to raise awareness on the issue.
