Thousands of Treasure Valley dogs and their human friends walked the 1-mile-loop around Julia Davis Park Saturday morning for the Idaho Humane Society’s annual fundraiser, ‘ See Spot Walk.’
The fundraiser was seeking about $100,000 to support the Humane Society’s efforts to help homeless animals find families. But, the organization surpassed their goal, raising more than $107,000, according to the Humane Society.
Participants at Saturday’s event could do more than just parade with their pups. They could also enter contests including a pet costume contest, Sticky Licky Peanut Butter Challenge and a trick challenge.
This was the Humane Society’s 23rd ‘See Spot Walk’ event.
