Boise Police investigators don’t believe anyone was hit by bullets a bondsman fired late Wednesday night at a home on Wesley Drive near Milwaukee Street.
Police say the bondsman was one of two agents trying to take a man into custody. As they were trying to arrest him, the man fled in his vehicle, injuring one of the bondsmen.
“Evidence also indicates the bondsman discharged his firearm in that incident,” states a Boise Police Department news release issued Friday evening.
It’s not clear who the man was or what his earlier charges involved.

The bondsman was taken to the hospital “with serious but non-life-threatening injuries,” according to the release. “The suspect, whose identity is known to detectives, fled the scene.”
It’s unclear if the suspect is still at large. Efforts to contact the Boise Police Department were not immediately successful.
Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers, 208-343-COPS.
