Together Treasure Valley: Amazing things can happen when we all join together

Working together is a simple concept — yet one that can have great impact.

That single idea is the fuel behind Together Treasure Valley, a new concept that brings 22 area businesses together to do good in our community and to celebrate what a great place the Treasure Valley is to live and work. Each partner is making a significant investment in this campaign, and that support will fund some exciting projects for our area.

We live in a wonderful place and have a great story to tell. Our area is full of entrepreneurial spirit, friendly people, wonderful venues, great schools and more. Opportunity surrounds us, and it is up to each and every one of us to work together to not only capture the opportunities, but to create them as well. Together Treasure Valley does just that — you can call it an “exercise in building community.” What we do together makes us a better community.

So how does it work? Together Treasure Valley has two components. The first is a multimedia campaign to generate excitement around Together Treasure Valley, to showcase the partners and to highlight the many great aspects of our community. The second phase is finding and funding projects that will make the Treasure Valley a better place to live and work. The goal for the projects is to leave a lasting impression on the Valley. At this point, the possibilities for the projects are endless, and we’re eager to begin the discussion about what they might be. And our brainstorming starts with you.

We invite every member of the community to participate. You can start now by visiting the website, TogetherTreasureValley.com. There, you can read about similar projects done in other cities, and — most important — you can give us your ideas for projects you’d like to see happen in the Treasure Valley. Perhaps you have an idea to help beautify the area, add to the overall quality of life and enhance education for our children. Whatever your project ideas are, we would love to hear from you.

As you read this section and learn more about the Together Treasure Valley partners and what inspires them, please think about what ideas you may have and share them with us. We look forward to hearing from you as well as inviting you to participate along the way!
