Screening: “Bravo! Common Men, Uncommon War: The award-winning documentary by local filmmakers Ken and Betty Rodgers tells the story of the 77-day Siege of Khe Sanh. The screening is free, 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11 in the Jordan Ballroom at Boise State. A panel of student veterans and readings by veteran writing contest winners will follow the screening.
Warhawk Air Museum: For over a decade the museum has sponsored the Veterans History Project that records the military experiences of veterans. The museum has published a book that chronicles some of these stories. All proceeds from the book sales will go to support the Veterans History Program. Visit the museum, 201 Municipal Way in Nampa from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Nov. 11 to meet some of the veterans featured in the book. Idaho State Veterans Home: The public is invited to attend a special ceremony that will be held at the Idaho Veterans Home, 320 Collins Road in Boise on Wednesday, Nov. 11 beginning promptly at 11 a.m. The ceremony will honor all military veterans, with a special emphasis this year on Idahoans who have received the Medal of Honor.

College of Western Idaho: The CWI Veterans Association and Student Enrichment Department will cover the west lawn of the Nampa Campus Academic Building with 300 American flags donated by the Eagle Field of Honor. The field is lit at night and is open through Nov. 12.
CWI will also hold a Veterans Day ceremony, 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11. at the CWI Nampa Campus Academic Building, which will feature a student speaker, student choir, guest speaker, refreshments, and more.
