Stories of refugees in big photos premiere at First Thursday in Boise

Nearly 50 photos of refugees are going up in three locations Downtown as part of a project called Stronger Shines the Light Inside.

The project includes stories as well.

“A lot of people don’t know very much about how refugees ended up in Idaho, what happened and what they’ve been through,” said photographer Angie Smith.

The project is on display through Nov. 1 in front of City Hall, along the Grove Plaza walkway and at 10th and Bannock streets.
