1 dead, 1 injured in crash on Elmore County reservoir

One juvenile is dead after a collision on Anderson Ranch Reservoir around 6 p.m. Saturday, according to the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office.

The juvenile killed in the crash is Terex Hatfield, who was a rising senior in Twin Falls, according to the Times-News in the Magic Valley. A vigil is planned for 9 p.m. Sunday at Twin Falls High School, the newspaper said.

Two personal watercraft crashed near Fall Creek Lodge on the reservoir, and three juveniles were involved, a press release from the sheriff’s office said.

One was pronounced dead at the scene, another was transported to Boise by air ambulance with non-life threatening injuries, and the third victim was not injured.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the crash.
