An Emmett man died at the scene of a two-vehicle crash near Firebird Raceway on Friday that started a brush fire, according to an Idaho State Police release.

Jose Flores-Martinez, 52, of Emmett, crossed the center line driving northbound in his 1990 Honda Accord on Idaho 16 and crashed into a 2014 Jeep Wrangler drive southbound by Thomas Weber III, 47, of Eagle, ISP said.
