Jose Torres-Rodriguez, 18, was in critical condition Wednesday at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
Two other occupants of a Chevrolet Trailblazer he was in died Tuesday morning after their vehicle rolled over on Idaho 45 near Melba.
Oscar Torres, 23, was driving south at about 6:20 a.m. when his Chevrolet Trailblazer went off the right shoulder, overcorrected and rolled in the left shoulder, Idaho State Police report. Torres and passengers Aaron Torres-Cruz, 33, and Torres-Rodriguez were not wearing seat belts and were ejected, according to a news release.
Torres died at the scene, and Torres-Cruz died later Tuesday morning at Saint Alponsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa, ISP reports. Torres-Rodriguez was taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise by air ambulance.
A fourth man, 22-year-old Jesus Duran, was wearing his seat belt and was taken to Saint Alphonsus in Nampa. He was not in the hospital system’s registry Wednesday.
Idaho 45 was blocked for approximately three hours after the crash, which happened near Dan’s Ferry Services.
