The left lane of westbound Interstate 84 near Boise's Franklin exit was blocked for about an hour Thursday after a chain-reaction crash that injured a Meridian man, Idaho State Police report.
ISP reports that Kaelyn E. Dodge, 17, of Star was driving west about 4:30 p.m. when her Jeep Cherokee rear-ended a Ford pickup truck that was stopped for traffic, driven by Jerrold W. Neu, 61, of Meridian. The impact pushed Neu's truck into a pickup driven by Roxanna M. Dempsay, 54, of Meridian.
Neu was taken by ambulance to St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center. Details of his injuries or whether a citation was issued were not available Thursday. All drivers were wearing seat belts, ISP reports.
