Treasure Valley residents can expect our recent run of unusually hot weather to continue — for another day, at least.
The National Weather Service is calling for a high of 102 Thursday, with a low of 74.
Over the weekend, though, that pattern should break up. Forecasters are calling for a high of 95 on Friday, then a steep drop to 85 on Saturday, before warming up a few degrees Sunday and Monday. Expect high temperatures to hover in the 80s into the middle of next week.
For the most part, the skies should be clear, except for smoke from the Soda Fire. Be on the lookout for scattered showers tonight, however, forecasters say.
