Good news bus riders, ValleyRide will start offering service in the evening on two popular routes beginning Aug. 17.
Route 9 State Street will operate until 10 p.m. weekdays and Route 7 Fairview Avenue will operate until 9:30 p.m. weekdays, announced Valley Regional Transit.
Each route finishes its last run around 7 p.m.
Valley Regional Transit also is making a few other changes to Route 7.

• Service frequency will change from 40 minutes to 30 minutes from downtown Boise with two route variations: The Route 7A bus will provide service to Ustick and Cole roads every hour via Milwaukee Street. The Route 7B bus will provide service to Towne Square Mall via Fairview every hour.
• Stops on Northview Street will be removed.
• New stops will be installed at Fairview and Westgate Drive at Dept. of Health and Welfare, Fairview and Owens Street, Ustick and Ash Park Lane, Ustick and Cole at the Library.
