Bicyclist injured in collision with car at Boise intersection

A bicyclist was injured and transported to a Boise hospital Wednesday afternoon after a crash at the intersection of Curling Drive and Braemere Road, KBOI-TV, Channel 2, reports.

Boise Police told Channel 2 the bicyclist was heading downhill on Curling Drive at a high speed when a car coming from the east was about to drive up Braemere Road and hit the bicycle.

The bicyclist's injuries were not life-threatening, police said. No citations were issued Wednesday afternoon, but Channel 2 reports the driver of the car might be cited for failure to yield.

The driver, the bicyclist and witnesses all related the same story, police told Channel 2. Further information about the crash was not available Wednesday evening.
