A woman crawled out of her overturned car Friday afternoon following a three-vehicle crash where Chinden Boulevard meets Highway 16, Ada County Sheriff’s spokesman Patrick Orr said.
Paramedics treated the woman, whose name is not known, extensively at the scene of the crash before friends took her to the hospital, Orr said. The extent of her injuries is not known.
“She was talking and walking,” Orr said
The crash occurred shortly after 3 p.m. when an eastbound vehicle on Chinden that was turning north on to Highway 16 collided with a vehicle that was traveling west on Chinden, Orr said. One or both of those vehicles hit a third, which was stopped at the intersection.
It’s unclear which one of the vehicles rolled. As of 7:45 p.m., Orr said, sheriff’s deputies were still investigating the crash. It’s unknown if anyone wil be cited for breaking the law.
Traffic in the area was restricted for a while. The wreckage was cleared about 4:30 p.m., Orr said.
