Lane closures will be in place at several bridges on the I-184 Connector next week as the Idaho Transportation Department continues bridge-maintenance work.
On Sunday night, July 12, lanes will be closed for striping from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. at 27th Street, Cole Road and Franklin Road on the Connector, and on Interstate 84 over the New York Canal, just east of the Orchard Interchange.
The schedule for this work is weather-dependent, but here is the plan for Monday, July 13, through Friday, July 17. Work-zone speed limits will be 50 mph except where noted.
Wye Interchange ramp toward City Center: Lane closures from 10 a.m. to 5 a.m.
I-184 over Boise River, near the Riverside Hotel: Lane closures from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m.
Main Street over Chinden Boulevard: Lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. The work-zone speed limit will be 25 mph.
I-184 under Emerald Street: Lane closures from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Work on the bridges includes surface maintenance on the decks, patching concrete and waterproofing. This work is part of ITD’s project to maintain and extend the lifespan of 10 bridges in the Treasure Valley by the end of the summer.
