Video: Sights and sounds (sorry, no smells) from Deli Days in Boise

Every year, hundreds show up to enjoy the hospitality of Boise’s small but vibrant Jewish community at Deli Days.

The event kicked off Thursday and continues from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Congregation Ahavath Beth Israel, 11 N. Latah St. in Boise.

You can enjoy kosher turkey, pastrami and corned beef sandwiches and hot dogs, bagels with cream cheese and lox, coleslaw or potato salad and real kosher dill pickles. You’ll also find traditional pastries and breads. A lineup of local musicians will play music by Jewish composers.
