Montana authorities searching for children last seen near Twin Falls

Missoula, Mont., police officers say two young children could be in danger after Heather Lynn Cassidy, their non-custodial mother, took them.

A judge in Montana issued an order Thursday to return 6-year-old Callen Cassidy-Robinson and 1-year-old Sula Cassidy-Robinson to their father, the children’s custodial parent, Missoula Police Lt. Scott Brodie said.

The children were last seen a month ago in Twin Falls. They may be in a silver 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser with Montana license plates BFC602, Brodie said.

Police said the mother is a white female who is 6 feet tall, 140 pounds, with red hair and hazel eyes.

Idaho State Police has been informed that the children are missing. Brodie said the Missoula Police Department has received many calls about potential sightings, the most recent of which took place near Ketchum.

As of 10:30 p.m. Thursday, neither the children nor their mother had not been found. Anyone who sees the children or a car matching that description is asked to report the sighting to local law enforcement authorities.
