A 4-year-old boy was rushed to a local hospital Friday night after he was found lying face-down in a pond in the 1700 block of Locust Lane, southwest of Lake Lowell, the Canyon County Sheriff's Office reports.
Canyon County dispatchers gave life-saving CPR instructions over the phone while county paramedics, a Marsing ambulance crew and deputies from Canyon and Owyhee counties responded to the scene, the sheriff's office reported.
The incident was reported about 6:15 p.m. The child was still hospitalized and in serious condition by Saturday night, according to the sheriff’s office.
