Meridian police are searching for a pair of men who held a victim at gunpoint and burglarized a home Tuesday afternoon, stealing nine guns and three bows.

Police do not believe the burglary was random.

At around 1:30 p.m., authorities responded to a call of a burglary in progress in the 300 block of East Gannet Drive. The victim reported walking into the residence and seeing a pair of men breaking into a gun safe. The burglars held the victim at gunpoint, according to police.

The victim was able to escape and call police as the suspects fled the scene. They fled in a black Dodge pickup, police said.

The suspects took four rifles, three pistols, two shotguns and three bows.
