Crash near Blackfoot sends infant, three adults to hospital

A two-vehicle crash on Wednesday sent three adults and an infant to the hospital after the collision on southbound Interstate 15, near Blackfoot.

The 12:10 p.m. crash occurred when Dustin Stacey, 33 of Boise, was driving a 2007 Pontiac G6 southbound on I-15 and his rear driver’s-side tire popped.

Stacey lost control of the vehicle and struck a 2016 Ford F550 pickup, driven by David Tanner Jr., 58, of Blackfoot, according to Idaho State Police.

Both vehicles rolled off of the right shoulder of the Interstate.

Stacey, his passenger Marianna Stacey, 27, and an infant were transported by ground ambulance to the Eastern Idaho Medical Center.

Tanner was transported by ground ambulance to Bingham Memorial.

All occupants were wearing seatbelts.
