A Friday morning crash on Interstate 84, near Malta, left a 29-year-old Boise woman dead.
The crash occurred at 10:55 a.m. on westbound I-84 when Samuel Taylor, 24, of Homedale, was driving a Dodge Neon, near milepost 244.7.
Taylor drove into the median and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll and come to rest in the right lane of travel, according to Idaho State Police. Taylor's passenger, Megan Erickson, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
Taylor was transported by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello..
